It's obvious they are dog lovers that respect canine intelligence and their training is full with versatile methods based on simple principles. We just did the training two days ago and been practicing the drills and it's made a huge difference on how she walks on leash. I've tried a different training with her (Bark Busters) which was 10x more expensive, huge wait for the first session and I wasn't too impressed with the outcome so I'm really happy to have found Tenderfoot.

He was impossible to walk because of biting the leash and jumping to bite us. After watching the training videos and doing a Zoom training, our Muggsy is a different dog! He still has some work to do but with Elizabeth and Doug's guidance, we know he can reach his full potential. I can not recommend them enough!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife and I had a 2 1/2 hour session at Tenderfoot Training this past weekend. Our instructor, Doug, was excellent. We had explored several other trainers before Tenderfoot, but they were either too harsh or entirely treat focused. Doug helped us understand how to communicate with our dog naturally and how to build a healthy relationship him. It was just what we were looking for. We highly recommend Tenderfoot. Thank you.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These guys are the dog whisperers. They teach pressure and release methods of training. No treats or clickers. They go through great detail on why your dog behaves certain ways and why.  Feel like you understand your dog much better. Highly recommend them if you want the correct way to train your dog.  my dog as went from shy and no confidence to  much more confident and well behaved. this is not a magic pill you are the one to build the relation ship with your dog. He worked with us and our 10-week old mini goldendoodle/labradoodle puppy, and the results were nothing short of amazing. In just two hours, Doug was able to teach us valuable techniques and strategies for training our puppy that we will continue to use. Doug's expertise and knowledge in dog training are apparent from the moment you meet him. He is patient, kind, and has a remarkable ability to communicate with dogs in a way that fosters trust and obedience. The two hours we spent with Doug were incredibly valuable. Not only did he teach us the fundamentals of training our puppy, but he also provided us with invaluable tips and advice that have made our puppy's transition into our home seamless. If you are looking for a dog trainer who is experienced, patient, and effective, look no further than Incredible Tenderfoot Training and Doug. We are steadily building understanding and respect that allows me to lead the pup without bribing or strong arming. Most of the time I feel like I’m the one in training (or therapy). In all seriousness, learning these drills has caused me to consider my need for rigid control over my dog and life in general. I could go on, but suffice it to say that Tenderfoot represents an outstanding set of tools and great lessons to live by. Love ‘em and lead ‘em!

It's reassuring that Doug & Elizabeth's natural dog training method offers a gentler, respectful and above all effective approach. In only a 2 hour remote training session, we saw incredible behavioural response in our 18 month old Aussie Shepherd. Not only are they both just lovely people and so affable to work with, but they give you a generous amount of comprehensive resources to work with afterwards (videos, pdf, recorded zoom session). Tenderfoot is certainly setting a new gold standard in how to build a strong relationship with your dog that is rooted in mutual respect and love replacing the outdated 'human treat vending machine' model.
